What brand 3080 card is it?
brand is Dell itself. And it's a good quality card. Beats low end to midrange cards by popular mfg.

Ya...stay away from this case. Absolutely no air circulation. In some cases/reviews, you get the basic intel CPU cooler instead of liquid cool. My brother has one and it runs like a jet since the air cool is non existent in the case.

Yup great price but it's all proprietary parts inside you will have trouble upgrading. If you want a review of it check out gamers nexus on YouTube. They reviewed it and it's terrible and thermal throttles so you'll lose a ton of performance. Not worth it

I bought this last summer and it runs pretty well. Never overheats with the 1080 card but I don't overclock. Just know that you cant get a pcie 4.0 ssd in this. The m.2 slot is 3.0 compatible only.

Not the 12GB 3080 for those wondering. Not sure if Dell will have their own 12GB OEM version in the future.

This deal is certainly better than any of their gaming laptops that goes around for the same price in my opinion. Gaming laptops are not portable anymore, so there's that.

dell makes reference boards. it's exactly the same board as PNY but with a much shitter cooler. the only brand it beats is zotac, which is a low bar to clear. everything else is better than dell/hp/pny, which are all reference boards.

Not true. I'm using one and this one is definitely better than many other models. Vapor chamber cooling ain't cheap for starters.
Dell 1660 Super on other hand is like bottom tier.

This has a 3060 in the review, but I've heard bad things about Alienware's cooling: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=8...2hc&t=684s

Hope that helps. It's a fairly close comparison.

Not sure who gave you a thumbs down.... but here's the youtube video from Gamer's Nexus: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=8...2hc&t=684s

Quite reliable videos. I'd agree with your comment Big Grin
