cool story, anyone selling a time machine to take advantage that awesome deal?
I was yesterday.
I use the torch light all the time. I accidentally left it on for over 24h one time with a 4aH battery and it was still shining when I came back to it.

340 lumens isn't much nowadays, compared to $20ish rechargeable Sofirn lights

I took one of those flash lights apart for another project. You want know the voltage of the LED? A paltry 3.3 Volts! It converts the 18V down to 3.3V

For the most part, every led is around 3v (give or take a little bit due to color and over driving). Even the led bulbs that run at 120 or 240v.

That's actually really good. Mine is a 2020 model but it only manages 10 seconds even with power saving mode turned off!

Buy the one below that takes you back a day and then buy the one for sale yesterday and you're good to go. Don't forget to tattoo or memorize some Powerball numbers.

The led mat is AWESOME when working under cars. Really flat (obviously) but it distributes light from multiple areas and doesn't cast too many shadows under a car that is only a few inches off the ground.

You can also roll it up so the light are shining out ward and set it upright, and it provides some 360* lighting, all though not very bright and doesn't travel very far. I find my self using the Ridgid folding panel lights to light up the actual work area because they throw a bunch of light at good distance when working on projects. This flat LET mat works good in a smaller area, like under a car or over by some tools so you can at least pick out the correct tool then get back to the main area your working on.

With out any context this means nothing. A 4 AH battery on this crappy torch light giving very low lumens is going to last a while, but it is not going to give off a lot of light (just very narrow focused beam light that is difficult to use in a work space.). Now take that same 4 AH battery and put it on the ridgid folding panel on high setting, well it is gonna go out really fast in comparison, but WOW your gonna have a lot of light to work with set up a few of them and it is like working in the day time. You would have to find out how many lumens this torch light is putting out (and I'm not talking about what the manufacture is "claiming" it's lumen out put is.) and compare it to your Milwaukee light. If your Milwaukee light is really running out that fast, then I would assume that it is MUCH brighter then the mentioned ridgid torch light, or your batteries are very old and losing their capacity. Milwaukee makes some DAMN good lights, and so does Ridgid. I would generally give the edge to Milwaukee though being a better tool when using comparable products. Higher light output and true color, and features wise.

If you do not care about any type of price comparisons, why are you on SD? No life, so just trolling?

They just blurted out a random number they paid -- no date, no location, no corresponding post link. It's like saying "someone gave me one" or "see what fell off the back of a truck!"

Utterly useless for any meaningful comparison. I don't see you adding much of value either to this conversation -- if it matters so much to you, where's the date/time/link to the magical $15 deal? You should be perfectly fine doing the effort since this such a meaningful issue for you.
