Anyone needing a number, Ting mobile Sim is usually $1 each so don't buy a phone# from these people. Bestbuy allows max of 3 and Target allows max of 2. Buy ahead of time and activate when you need a phone#, with $30credit you shouldn't have to pay a thing if porting out in less than a day or 2

$15/month in total for all 5 lines. They share the 1GB of data.
Keep in mind, there was a promo as well where if you sign up for their internet plan, they gave you up to $30/month off their promo rate of internet with xfinity mobile. In my case, that would be $19/mo for 300mbps internet. Then $200/line byod. On top of that, if you get a referral link and buy both services, you can get $75 back as well. I know someone that can refer 😉 I used a referral when I signed up and did get the gift card.

Ie: port 3 lines: bonus $600, sign up for the 300mbps internet as new customer, $30x24 for $720 discount, plus referral of $75.

So I got 2 Ting Sim cards. What is the next step to get a number - when I go to Ting, I click on brining my own phone - used an IMEI of an old phone which works, click on details of the SIM - now it is asking which plan do I want to use - what do i pick here - and will these prices pro-rate if I move the line out tomorrow ?

I think I'm getting onto the deal train late. I have all prerequisites - Numbers to port out, Compatible phones and an existing Xfinity broadband line.

However when I place order for SIM from Xfinity mobile site, the estimate for delivery is 24-Feb and the promo expires on 22-Feb.

1. Do you know between the date I ordered the addition line (02/17) or the date I could activate at the earliest (02/24), which one counts for the promo? I don't want to rely on a CS agent who might now promise I'd qualify but then someone else corrects later saying they were wrong and deny the $200.

2. Is there a way I could visit an Xfinity store to get a SIM to activate instead? Would that count for the $200 promo? If so, how should I do it - place an order for SIMs online with checkout showing $200 GC promo and then activate with a SIM from store, or would the store sign me up for the promo?

Thanks.
I just ordered today. promo was in my cart when i checked out...take a screenshot. worth the risk imo but ymmv..although i think you'll be fine

Ok so 5 lines is the max you can bring? I had xfinity mobile last year and it was BRUTALLY slow. I live in an area with great verizon, had/have verizon, but they are very low priority. Trying to even load a 720p video standing next to a tower was soul crushing. I like free money.

I'm on the plan builder. How do you get ilnes to "share" 1GB data. It's making me select "under 1g" for all of them.

Thanks in advanced. I have a bunch of phones but little time to pull this off.

Just choose by the gig for all. It will pool all your lines to that plan.

Based on my BYOD experience in 2021 Xfinity prepaid card promotions are tracked by the order date, not the activation date. You're fine here.

And store sign ups should be eligible for the same promotion.

I've done previous offers and had to pay the 4th month also. Mine was paid about a week or two into the 4th month.
A fourth month is peanuts, especially if you have 5 lines and share 1gb and don't use data.

When you add a line, it will show the available plan options. You can select the shared 1GB plan.

Yeah, they've given me the gc early twice actually, from different promos. Key is always stock up on prepaid sim cards for porting in or porting out and have a bunch of unlock phones on the ready. 😁

For those that have done promotion before, does order history or email confirmation contain details of the promotion?

I recently setup a couple myself. I picked the cheapest plan. I'll find out what the bill is in like 30 days.

I have used the best buy/target $1 ting sim that comes with $30 credit. The credit has taken care of any balance multiple times.

If you are on the cheapest $10 plan and don't use data, you should have a $10 bill. However, if you use ANY data you will be charged $5.

Does it matter what IMEI I use? Do I have to activate using this particular IMEI when I receive the SIM card? I tried an old iphone7 on their website and it says that it's not compatible.
