Anyone needing a number, Ting mobile Sim is usually $1 each so don't buy a phone# from these people. Bestbuy allows max of 3 and Target allows max of 2. Buy ahead of time and activate when you need a phone#, with $30credit you shouldn't have to pay a thing if porting out in less than a day or 2

$15/month in total for all 5 lines. They share the 1GB of data.
Keep in mind, there was a promo as well where if you sign up for their internet plan, they gave you up to $30/month off their promo rate of internet with xfinity mobile. In my case, that would be $19/mo for 300mbps internet. Then $200/line byod. On top of that, if you get a referral link and buy both services, you can get $75 back as well. I know someone that can refer 😉 I used a referral when I signed up and did get the gift card.

Ie: port 3 lines: bonus $600, sign up for the 300mbps internet as new customer, $30x24 for $720 discount, plus referral of $75.

Thank you and if I order 5, I'm not planning to use the lines, can I activate everything using the same phone and put them aside for 90 days, will that be fine?
You don't need a phone for each to activate, but you will need unique IMEI numbers to get the sim cards at order creation. You can activate online without putting the sims into any devices.

Note that not having a device for each line isn't my recommendation as Xfinity may decide they need to see unique activity on each line for the gift card to process. Proceed at your own risk.

I selected Other for three new lines. Fingers crossed. We'll see what Xfinity comes back with when it's time to port. Hopefully subsequent emails present an opportunity to specify Ting as Xfinity will need to know what carrier to port from (and also the port-out PINs from Ting).

But fedex hasnt delivered sims yet and shows delivery date of feb 22.I believe they have lost the package. So what happens if I dont get sim and cant activate lines by feb 22nd? Am i still eligible for promo?

You can drop by a local store to add line and they will provide free SIMs.

You have thirty days from your order date to activate. You don't have to activate by 2.22 to be eligible for the gift card.

Yoy can activate without the sims in hand if you want to, just know that the transfered lines won't be able to be used until the sims come in. You can activate online in your account or by chatting with a rep.

If you are doing the 'by the gig' plan at 1gb shared, it is $15 for the first line and free for the rest. There are taxes for each line. Usually $1-3 for each line. I have five lines with a total bill after taxes of about $26/month.

Get the phone numbers so you can enter them when you order. You don't need the rest of the port info until you activate.

You don't need to call ting as all the information is available online.

Boost would be best to call 611 from a phone with the activated sim. Most of the 'new boost' numbers have a porting pin of '123456' but YMMV.

In all my previous experience, the port from a mobile carrier has never taken more than 2 minutes. With Xfinity Mobile, it seems to be taking more than normal

1. BoostMobile number as BoostMobile - port took about 2 hours
2. BoostMobile number as AT&T Prepaid - port took about 2 hours
3. Ting number - took about 20 minutes
4. TextNow number - still waiting after last night; expected though
5. Google Voice number - still waiting after last night; GV site says Approved

Textnow and google voice are treated like landline phones. It will take about 2-3 days to complete. But it will go through.

Hi
I am trying to port to Xfinity from visible. I don't visible in the list. Which company do I select

Select Verizon prepay and it work
Does this mean we can port from visible (Verizon mvno) to xfinity (another verizon) and still eligible for the GC? I thought it has to be from non-verizon provider. If this is the case, then can we keep going back and forth and get GCs?

Thanks. I can add multiple ting to the same account?

For this promotion, google voice will be better than BoostMobile/Ting? As Google voice will charge $3 to unlock and I am not sure how many BoostMobile/Ting will charge in the end after we port it out and cancel the service.
