Lol!
I'm on Simple Choice still with 10. They are offering only half the credit. Pathetic.

Yeah. I wouldn't change from one plus rate but those with simple choice or magenta can get great phone deals with max. And resell for profit

I got 10 lines on Simple Choice (all have been upgraded free to Unlimited 5G and 4GB hotspot) for $120 a month. Last year T-Mobile offered S21 free $800 off with a Galaxy S9 trade in. Bought 4 off eBay for $150 each paid $60 for the taxes on the S21 so I got 4 S21 for $210 each this year they offer $400 off with an S10e. Yep no thanks lol that would cost me $200 to buy an S10e plus 400 + $60 taxes. So $660. The price the S21 will cost in 2 weeks. I'll stick with my Pixel 6 I got for $150.

Yeah. I mean if they could get me even remotely close to what I'm paying now on my "legacy" type plan for the same amount of lines, then, sure, I'd *consider* moving to magenta max for future deals, etc. But right now it'd be like 3 times more to move there's no way in hell I'm doing that. Maybe someday they'll offer a holy grail offer for magenta and we'll all shift.

I mean all my liens get 5g and unlimited right now with no video rate throttling..why would we move

Same here - last year, got $800 for an S9.

Still - with T-Mobile, you can get an Ultra for $200 with proper trade in. That's the best price for an S22 Ultra although it means 2 year term.

I'm on an old Unlimited Freedom V10 plan with 2 lines for $120/month and I also have a free line (Unlimited On Us Plan). I'm interested in getting the S22 Ultra...if I move to Magenta Max I'll end up paying $20/month more. Any other way to get a deal, or no dice?

I'm in the same boat as you. I have 3 lines on that plan and 1 phone on an unlimited free plan. I'm only looking for an S22 Ultra for my wife and I, but yeah I'm not gonna change my Sprint legacy plan I pay $140 a month (not including my 2 watch plans at $13.50 each) for a deal on a phone where I'll be playing $15/month more switching to Magenta Max. I get a $5 per phone employee discount per line and I assume those roll over but eve then it's still $15/month more.

Hey login to Sprint.com if that is what your billing still is and the deal is fine with any plan on it. So we can sign up with our unlimited freedom plan and still get the $1K off.

I want John Legere back, the new management sucks. I'm not leaving my Simple Choice plan. These are some of the shenanigans that Verizon used to play and the reason I left them for T-Mobile

Samsung.com offers 800 off if your trade in for a tmobile version with the added $250 credit for accessories if you go with the ultra or slighty less with other models. I don't believe you have to change your plan either.

I feel like it's just a matter of time before they force everyone on the crappier Magenta plans. I'm on an old Simple Choice 10GB plan and when I recently added a new line they said the plan was 'deprecated' and I needed to pay the add-a-line fee AND a separate data plan fee, had to email executive support to resolve and they made it clear this was a one-off exception moving forwards.

The deals on Samsung sucks. They are only offering $400 for my Note 10+ while T-Mobile will give me the full $1000 off trading it in. So Samsung is significantly more expensive for most if they don't have an S21 or Note 20 to trade in. Even adding on edu or other discounts it's still crazy expensive on there.
