Although it's been this price before, it's also worth noting that this is the lowest it's ever gone
Say five years old?

Maybe, you do need to know how to write words. I guess if your five year old can read and write, it should be fine.
What about for a 30 year old that knows how to write words?

Chances are your kid won't be able to really play it though, since you need to be able to read and write. When my kid was very small, I'd sometimes let her sit on my lap and play "with me". As in I'd read her the hints, and then let her guess the answers. It's a pretty fun game for adults too.
Now that she's able to read on her own, she can play by herself, except that she's constantly like "DAD HOW DO I SPELL VAMPIRE." or whatever.
You can use the touchscreen keyboard, but you have to enable it in the settings.
The game otherwise assumes you want an obnoxiously complicated rotary thing.
Thanks. I'll hold off for a while
This is a game unlike any other. This is a game where your imagination can be whatever it wants to be to accomplish the task at hand.
For example:
I was asked to get an item high up on a ledge, so I typed in "Large Hadron Collider." One appeared. I used the large hadron collider. A black hole opened and the level ended.
That's when I knew I had found the greatest game ever to exist.
I am a 35 year old man.
