Reminds me when I go for my annual checkup and my doctor always brings up every single gaping wound and won't shut up about the profuse bleeding. Can't he just stick to the important stuff like making sure my knees' reflexes are spot on? So "preachy!"

I put this one on my CCC list at 14 bucks. I expect it'll be about a year before it'll drop to that slicker price, if past is prelude. By that time I may have actually set up my 7.2 system with a Panasonic 4k player and worked through my backlog :-)

I did a little test comparing LOTR on 4K and on Blu Ray. I had LOTR in UHD running on my LG 4K player and set up the Blu Ray in my Xbox 1S and set both at almost exactly the same time in the movie.
Switching sources back and forth on my receiver I discovered greater separation and there were detail sounds on the 4K that simply were no there on the Blu Ray.
