That's the "upgrade" option, so it's less of a bonus but still better than upgrading directly with ATT

All the Tmobile deals (mayyybe with exception of the $1k magenta Max) are hot garbage for this phone.

Deals are very confusing. Not sure if "S22 5G series" also applies to the ultra?

At any rate, not that good of a deal, at least not for T-mobile. Costco will likely have something better in the next promotion.

Yep, for AT&T promo you cannot buy the phone outright at the discounted price and cancel/downgrade service immediately as you'll then be billed for the full cost of the phone.

Per terms, the default installment plan is 30 months and the "discounted" price will be via bill credits over that period. Terms also state the unlimited plan must be minimum $75/mo or $65/mo if new customer w/ autopay + paperless discount.

This is a no-brainer if you're already on an unlimited plan with them and don't mind being under contract for another 30 months--just dig up your old galaxy phone or buy a cheap used one for trade-in. Otherwise IMO, this is only worth looking into if your current plan is already close to $65/mo and you're comfortable with a 30-month contract.

Yep. Last year it was an S9 for $800 off on any plan. S9 where going for $150 on eBay. This year S10e gets you $400 on a grandfathered plan. T-Mobile blows.

This deal is better than the at&t frontpager if you agree to their terms. Why not do it a Costco and save on activation and get a Costco gift card? Why no love for this deal, but the other is thumbs up?

Where do you see no activation?? I can see they have written $30 activation fee for AT&T. I got that $30 waived (the rep put $30 credit) when doing directly by AT&T. Will Costco wireless center also waive off activation fee???...If not the difference comes to total $20 gift card? Please correct me if i am wrong

does it waive activation? can you choose different color at Costco?

Follow up: I went to the store and they said the activation fee is waived, and can only choose Black, 128gb, so no upgrade on the storage size.
