Microphone quality is almost identical.
Bluetooth 5.1 on the qc45 and 4.2 on the qc35.
USB-C charging on the 45 and micro USB on the 35.
I have the qc25 35 and the Bose 700. I ended up selling the 45 as I didn't see too much difference between the 35 and the 45. If money is no issue buy the 45 or the 700 but this is not really a bad deal. I've seen the Bose 700 refurbished ones selling around $200 on Bose.com which is a much better deal if you can find one.

Some website reviews have audio clips of calls, and it's just no where near an Airpod or anything like that, spare your callers.
