This is typical. If you know what you want, it is often better to just continue to watch the price fluctuations, and buy the dip. Or wait until you can get free shipping.
I purchased it about two weeks ago. I recently used it for building a Ryobi tool holder. It is powerful, I wish it had a speed control. I was using it on 3/4 ply with a good bit it was flawless. I wanted to fancy up my design and used a worn chamfer and it ate into the wood. That was user error, not the tool.
It is so convenient to switch a battery. The device is a little awkward to hold and you will see Youtubers mention that. I anticipate I will use it a ton. Of course, my table router is stronger (better?). But, like a cell phone is to a DSL, the tool you grab is often the best one to use.
Thanks. have been looking for the inflator, but add in the $9.99 shipping (maybe not everyone gets charged shipping?) and price in total is not that different from the $69 homedepot similar but new kit sold yesterday. EDIT: Correction, the homedepot kit did not have a charger. So this is a better deal.
Alternatively thinking of getting a bigger battery (2Ah or more) plus charger plus the inflator. The cheapest battery kit is out of stock but the two batteries (2Ah plus 4Ah or the two 4 Ah) are in stock. So total with the 2 + 4 + charger plus inflator is 114 plus taxes.. Still a little steep but i guess having two would be good for the future...
.
This is one store I wish was more local. Every once in awhile there is free shipping, but like these sales, the price typically also jumps so the net is very similar. For the most part, I will opt to purchase from a HomeDepot deal with free shipping and more favorable returns.
Actually, it was the two 4amp batteries, charger and bag with the work light delivered for $100 from Home Depot that even got me into the Ryobi line. I think they called it 'Ryobi Days' that comes around once or twice a year.
A ryobi stick vacuum is perfect for valentines day.
.
Yea, that would probably be a better option than a new broom ---but not certain I would call it a real deal.

Meanwhile, Saint Valentine was executed on February 14, 269AD as the basis for Valentine's Day that was invoked by Pope Gelasius I in 496AD, who then lived but four years as the Bishop of Rome.
The hypocrisy of 'love' as the basis for this created holiday has been food for thought, but I suppose the arrows of Cupid are appropriate.

I'm in for a clamp light and dual inflator kit. This is my first foray into cordless tools, I've decided on the Ryobi ecosystem.
Welcome to the club.
I started w/ the Ryobi 1/2in drill & 1/4in impact driver drill kit way way back for $99 at HomeDespot. I would have loved to get a Makita or a Ridgid, but a lot more $ and Ryobi was the one w/ garden tools: edger, weed wackier, blower.
Happy w/ the decision, b/c Ryobi has gone into other useful devices too: tire/inflatable air compressor, all kinds of led lights, etc.

I ride bikes a lot. I love that Ryobi Inflator. It comes with battery and charger. It should be listed as it's own slickdeals Deal. You set the PSI level you want and hit button. It stops at that PSI. No cords so its easy to move around and position for valve access. I already have 2 or I'd get one.

Anyway, if anyone is still looking for a deal on this:
$59 with free shipping at Home Depot (tool only) comes with Latch Mortiser. [homedepot.com]
