Good brand, easy to install due to the setup kit, and fingerprint scanner works well since it uses UV LOCA glue (easily removable, dont worry). $20 for 2 screen protectors still isnt cheap, as you can get just the glass and glue from aliexpress for around $5, but shipping takes weeks and is more of a pain to install since they dont include a jig on aliexpress. This AmFilm product is very similar to WhiteStone Dome's.

I used this on my S21U and its protected it from several falls. One edge of the screen protector did chip (protector, not screen) but id rather have that happen than my screen crack.

As to one of the previous comments about fingerprint sensor reliability, ive had ZERO issues with mine on the S21u. The only gripes I have are at $20 its still not cheap, regardless of the jig its still not fun installing, and there are some small microdots positioned strategically that may annoy you if youre OCD and you angle the phone to get a glare off them.

With all that said, I bought this.

Obviously you've never used a loca glue screen protector. They leave NO residue when removed and cleaned with a basic alcohol wipe. It's not a permanent adhesive and does not damage anything.

Based on my experience with last year's S21 Ultra Amfilm kit and Whitestone, I found the Amfilm glass to be superior, while the coating of the coating on the Whitestone wore off pretty quickly and was prone to crack more easily compared to the Amfilm.

Warranty: Amfilm >>>> Whitestone.

Ease of installation went to the Whitestone though (for the S21U), it was more difficult to install the Amfilm one without messing up compared to the Whitestone. The Whitestone also provided fancy stickers to cover all ports and crevices while the amfilm just came with ones for the top speaker. I believe Whitestone has gone back to the traditional install tray instead of the wind-up install tray this year so it should be pretty equal.

Wish Samsung would just go back to the traditional flat screen for the Ultra models to avoid the added expense and stress of installing loca glue screen protectors tbh...

i use to use screen protectors, but hasn't done any for the last few years. sure screen protector will protect scratches, but themselves reduce your screen quality quite badly, sort of defying the point of getting a great screen to begin with.

i also find the phone screen are pretty tough, certainly tougher than the screen protector. so if you screen were to crack, having screen protector probably won't help.

Any one know of a reputable brand that makes S22 Ultra cases with the kick stand? I can't seem to find the one from Spigen that I currently have on my S10+ that allows me to prop it up horizontally.

Samsung will have one available with dual kick stands that work in landscape and portrait. I use the same case now on S21IU and like it.

This is a different kind of screen protector that uses loca glue because the screen is curved on the edges. It comes with multiple accessories to facilitate an easier installation and to cure the glue - hence the higher price.
