It's a nice deal, you have to factor in how many times you would use it in a year to calculate the saving. Often southwest tickets are cheap in first place. Meanwhile there are other non related credit cards out there with 80,000-100,000 points which I think is a better deal.
If you are a hardcore flyer on southwest, it would be a slickdeal.

Someone can travel with you whenever you do, for free. You still pay tax on fare. The pass lasts 1y.

I have it last year, I flown SW about 20 times but my gf was only able to use it twice. It turned out to be not a good deal for us.
Only 4 people total. Once you set your companion, you can only change it 3 times.

About 200k points roughly. But I actually got CP this year by doing one card SW biz when they ran the 100k offer. I then referred a buddy for 20k. Got 130k points total and CP. And you also get CP thru 23, not Feb 23.
