These are garbage. There is no high/low pressure setting. The buttons start wearing away almost immediately. The bowl won't stay still when stirring things (the bowl has no friction with the side, so you have to use an oven mit to hold it still and stir). The trivet is useless. The teflon started coming off after the second or third use. Using it once in the dishwasher, the aluminum outside of the bowl becomes discolored from oxidation. It doesn't come with a spare silicone ring. These are just the things off the top of my head. This thing is one big design failure

My mom is still using the one I gave her four years ago almost daily, it works great. So do the ones I've given to three other people since I got hers. I am not discounting your issues but I don't think these are junk, they are a good deal for $30. I would suggest getting the inexpensive stainless pot for it and choosing the nonstick or stainless depending on what you are cooking.

I started to call BS on your claims, thinking this was an Instant Pot. But it isn't. Not even the same user interface.

I use it pretty much all the time since my house is basically apartment sized. I make rice on the biweekly. And I haven't seen the rice button wear and I use that button a lot. Haha I bought a spare inner bowl and glass lid. And it's been as helpful as my siblings instant pot

Biggest issue with this versus Instant Pot is the lack of a stainless steel inner pot, I believe. That means using nonstick which is a nonstarter for a lot of people.

I have been using this modem for 3 year on a near weekly basis and I have no complaints.

I usually make shredded chicken breast straight out of the freezer with chicken broth, herbs and spices. Once cooked in the I toss it into the kitchen aid stand mixer to shred. Separate that into three Tupperware. One for BBQ chicken sandwiches, one for pesto chicken sandwich or pasta, and one to make chicken salad. If it is soup weather I leave a third in the pot and add mirepoix and additional spices for chicken soup.

We have been thoroughly enjoying this cooker for months now. I use it multiple times per week and it still puts a smile on my face how easy and quick it makes meals.

Build quality is fine to me. I wash by hand with no abrasive scrubbers, and don't use metal utensils to scoop or stir food. The Teflon coating has not degraded yet.

Wish I had one of these sooner.

False advertising. The inner pot is non stick, and not stainless steel.

Great deal for $30. I have both insignia and instant pot, both are working without issues.

i agree! and i will add that you cant turn off the insanely loud beeping on this model. there is only one temp. that temp is high. this makes the saute function a pain in the ass, it is way too hot to saute !!

Does it cost them less to make it non stick instead of regular stainless steel. From everything I've read non stick Teflon shouldn't be used in high temperature high pressure. I would jump on it if this were available in a steel pot.
