I placed my two orders a few hours apart, and didn't have an issue. I'm not an ATT subscriber either...

Can't answer your question about authorized retailers for Cricket. I think someone mentioned earlier that Cricket no longer has corp stores. You could try buying in store, and if the offer doesn't trigger, return it within 7 days. My offer triggered E-mail for Cricket was almost immediate.

This was my first time redeeming the Cricket offer, and I placed 3 orders, all 24 hours apart. Already received the $25 statement credit from my first order, 5 days after the first transaction. I wonder if you can change the shipping address by adding something like "front door" on the 2nd line. Would that get around their 3 max order limit?
Can you provide link for the accessory which triggered the Cricket offer? I don't want to buy any new service.

Good chance you'll have to return them. My advice is to avoid ordering anything under $37.50 from their online store, cuz there's a very high chance the order will be split, even if the expected ship date is the same, since the items could be coming from different warehouses. The only time I might take a chance is if I'm ordering two identical items.
I've taken that chance a few times so far with different iterations of this offer, and two identical items ($20 each) have been shipped at the same time so far.

made a mistake in ordering and they charged for both total $80. Anyone know if I return one item, will they still credit for one or no credit?

Placing two or more orders within few hours is more likely to trigger ATT's anti-fraud system. In 2020, I placed 4 orders within an hour and had no issues. In 2021, my address/cards/ip address were blocked when I tried to place 3rd order within hours. I used the waiting 24 hours after each order trick to complete all my 6 orders. After 6 orders, ATT didn't allow me to place any order even if I waited days and used different names and credit cards.
Definitely the number of orders within a specific timeframe is a parameter in ATT's anti-fraud algorithm.

I am wondering if anyone has asked Chase about this issue.

Be careful with the accessories return, you probably won't get any refund.
Ah crap. I did a return about two weeks ago and still no refund has been posted.

If you try to place another order (just for testing), do you get the same message as I do after entering your shipping address and moving to the payment information? Trying to figure out if I'm special Smilie

I tried multiple variations of the address; even if the shipping stage takes the modified address, the payment step gives an error stating that I need to update the shipping address to match the billing address.

I have to decide if I want to risk it going to an authorized Cricket store or not.

Ha! What an idiotic limitation. Is it there to block people from ordering burner phones from Cricket? laugh out loud

You can try to contact chase using the security message in your account. Sometimes it works, sometimes doesn't.Last year, I had the same issue with ATT order, they split the order and charge. Chase gave me the credit after whatever the investigation they called, took about one month though. Chase should be able to check the pre-charge if they want. Good luck!

I feel like regardless of what the T&Cs state for these AT&T and Cricket offers, as long as the merchant posts correctly, it triggers the offer. Chase doesn't seem to distinguish charges for accessories, bill payments or establishing new service.

So based on your logic , in store purchase of cooperate AT&T store of accessories and they have posted my purchase as — > merchant type : "Telecommunication equipment and phone sales" do it consider as under terms of this offer ?

I have had the same verbiage for this round of offer.

Feels like we have a mole from ATT here, reading through these messages and changing from accessories to service.
