This is insane…just yesterday my best friend was telling a story about her late mother. She always found these in her mom's purse, but they said "Chi-Chi's" on them, not Andes. So for her whole childhood (and the first part of her adulthood) she thought they were actually called 'Chi-Chi's Candy', and had no idea what Andes mints were. (Chi Chi's is a Mexican restaurant and they repackaged the mints to say their name on them) It was the first good memory she'd shared about her mother with me. I'm immediately sending her these, and I hope it brings her some good feelings.

They keep in the freezer for years. Just let them return to room temperature before you open the freezer bag to prevent condensation, unless you are just grabbing a few. And this is only because these are the foil wrapped mint and are not 100% sealed. You can skip it for the mylar wrapped candies.
