There was a tremendously popular deal posted in January that let you get 20% off many of Garmin's devices.

However, the 20% off coupon codes many people were using to place those orders from various apps, and programs like PerksAtWork, Unidays & others were eventually modified to exclude some of Garmin's most popular devices.

That said, it looks like at least one coupon code available to the public is still working.

Optimity is an app that "rewards" users for healthy activities. One of those rewards is a discount code for 20% off a purchase from Garmin. As of today, the discount codes being generated by Optimity are still working for some of Garmin's most popular wearables, like the newly released 2nd Gen Epix Sapphire.

Instructions
  1. Download the Optimity App, from the Apple [apple.com] or Google [google.com]App Store.
  2. Complete the signup process, which should earn you 180 rewards points, putting you 20-shy of the required 200 rewards points for a Garmin discount.
  3. Earn at least 20-more rewards points, by completing a quiz, going for a walk and recording it in the app, or similar.
  4. Go to the App's rewards tab, and and redeem your point balance for "20% off Garmin wearables and scales"
  5. Receive a discount code in your email that allows you to take 20% off applicable items on Garmin.com
While the full offer T&C do not specifically exclude Garmin's latest generation of wearables, they could be updated at any time, so I'd recommend acting fast.

Some users in other deal threads have reported more success using incognito windows, or clearing cookies in order for discount codes to work on Garmin.com.

Offer T&C from the Optimity App:
Quote :
Optimity members are eligible to receive a 20% discount off MSRP (Manufacturer's Suggested Retail Price) of Garmin wearables, smartwatches and scales. Please note that this discount may not be combined with any other coupons, discounts, promotions or rebates.

Each code is a one time use and may be used to purchase up to 2 devices and/or 5 accessories on the same order.

Offer is available for the following products:
  • Garmin vívo line of products
  • Garmin fēnix® products
  • Garmin Forerunner® products
  • Garmin IndexTM products
  • Garmin Approach® products
  • Garmin Venu® products
  • Garmin Instinct® products

Once claimed, offers can not be refunded.

There is a problem with the app in sending verification emails - I haven't gotten mine in a couple of hours.

Got the discount code and used it to get the Epix. The code that gets emailed to you works.

Good coupon for those looking to grab a garmin. I'm still hanging onto my almost 3 year old Forerunner 245, and I would like to refresh it, but I do not want to upgrade to another line. Hopefully the 255 is released soon.

Yeah - I've been stuck trying to decide between a wrist-mounted, or bike-mounted device for my next "bike computer".

The Edge bike computers are long-past due for a refresh/next generation.

But after seeing a friend's Epix, and all the health data he was getting, I was sold.

I can see how it'd be overkill for plenty of people, but if you're training towards some kind of fitness goal, it looks amazing.

Now to just wait "5-8 weeks" for it to ship.

I agree, I run about 20-25 miles per week, but I don't want anything bigger than the dimensions of the 245. The 245 is the perfect size on my wrist. Money isn't the problem, as I can pay for a premium watch, but I really just want an upgraded 245, lol!

The new devices look wonderful though, I agree!
