For a product related comment. We have this can opener and would not recommend it. If you can get the can lined up it is fine, but it's difficult to get the can lined up. Usually takes 3-4 tries to get it working with no obvious "trick" except persisting through the frustration
Tell that to someone that suffers from arthritis.
I don't have disease. But it is still painful for me to open a can. Especially imagine you need to continuously open three cans for a dinner. This seems promising, though I prefer the one can install under the cabinet.

I had thumb surgery twice and have a hard time twisting or my thumb gets out of alignment. These are a great help!

Consider something like this instead
https://www.amazon.com/dp/B09RZX9...BV8XA56XD0

No lifting heavy can, no careful lining up, no blade ripping through metal, nothing touches food and needs cleaning, no sharp edges and easy to use silicone spatula to scrape clean the can interior, works on any size canned food without restrictions on height, diameter, or weight

Seriously? Elderly people and otherwise people who are weak from something like cancer, and people with arthritis, as mentioned, have trouble opening cans manually. I was thinking of buying this for my church where we have many older volunteers who work in the kitchen.

Bought this few months ago. Worked fine and then it died. Just wouldn't work.

Thanks for the suggestion on this! I'm curious, do you have any direct experience with this particular model yourself or similar? Strongly considering grabbing this but only 8 reviews on Amazon and would be interested if you have direct experience yourself with this model.

Thanks for your feedback on this! I actually just asked the OP for this link on their personal experience/feedback (if any).
