This looks like a great deal but many of you have local vinyl stores that sell $1 for a 12x12 sheet. If not, websites like expressionsvinyl sells 12x12s for 77¢ plus S&H about $6. For reference, this roll is the equivalent of a little less than 2 12x12 sheets.
While this may be perfect for some, just know that there are other options available (with some really cool options like holographic, patterns, and, more if you need more than a few rolls of this

Thanks for this reminder! Cricut branded products are so super expensive. Do you by any chance know of good alternatives to the Cricut smart vinyl, specifically? My online searches haven't yielded anything helpful. I have a Maker and was thinking about taking advantage of this deal bc I like being able to print without a mat. But if there are other options, I would love to know!!
Will these work on cars?
Trying to add vinyl to few small spots. Not the whole car obviously
Yes but it will fall off. There are two types of vynil permanent and removable. Car wraps can be removed but they use permanent adhesive (so that they last at least a couple of years). If you use non permanent it will fall off within a couple of weeks at best depending on sun and rain. Also, car wraps are usually really thin, less than 2mil which makes them easier to wrap. These will be about 2.5mil. Cricut premium vinyl was just rebranded oracal vinyl, not sure if they still do use that high quality or make their own. Car wrap is usually made by 3M and the adhesive is designed to not stick much until a squeegee is used which again makes it easier to wrap.

That might work well! Use a hairdryer to warm it up a little and wrap it around the back edges?

No, smart vinyl is on a thick backer sheet so it doesn't need a mat.
