I quit this about halfway because the characters were so abominable. But, that's the point of Palahniuks work. I'll have to give this a go again, was still interesting and well written.

I was reading this book at work during my lunch break. A coworker walking by commented that I looked very pale and should go home if I was sick. I finished the book, but will never read it again.

I read his book Snuff and it was very disturbing. One of the best descriptive authors in giving you a mental picture of what's going on. I like his work but definitely not for everybody! Best shock author in my opinion!

Loved this book the first go around. Didnt hold up on a second read but still worth reading. Love Chuck and have a number of his books.
