review says not spicy so it's probably level 1. If it's level 5 I'll bite.

Did something change where you don't get 5% base S&S discount anymore?

I get this message at checkout:

Unlock 5% savings by adding this and 2 more products to your next delivery. Note: Prices go up or down over time, but you'll always get your Subscribe & Save savings on top of the current price. Learn more

I thought it was 5% for each item, 15% (10% for certain items) if you hit 5 or more subscriptions.

I've bought this before. It's pretty mild. Tastes good though. Personally I don't like super hot stuff. Just a little heat for flavor is good for me.

It seems it's kinda managed by the item now. On some I even get 0/5%

It always has been managed by the item. It used to be more uncommon to see 0/5%. Subscriptions are more pricy as of late, probably due to inflation + supply chain.

Now why didn't I think of this. It's so logical since I have put them into ketchup separately.

Haha give it a shot. Both seem readily available at most restaurants. That's how it started for me. Now I make it at home also.

Each item is at the discretion of the % discount the seller wants to give. You're not doing anything wrong, it's just not a 5/15% item. Seeing this more and more lately.
