Picked up S5 Max, hopefully it lasts past the two years. I'm looking forward to using the no mop zone because my parents rugs are crusty from the S5 using mopping that I got them since it doesn't include mop zones. I got an e4 refurb from Amazon from Roborock recertified and it seems to work well enough in the cat room, even including the mop attachment despite not saying in the description.
I picked up refurb S6 few months ago, it came almost new, with new filters, but some old maps in the vacuum memory. I then decided to get S5max instead and returned S6. The return was easy - they gave me the label and I dropped it at the post office. I would not hesitate to buy official refurb from them again.
Do you really want a recertified model ? what is return policy ? Anyone have experience with these refurbs ?
I bought a S6 around Black Friday. Works as expected. It was clean and the vacuum doesn't delete previous user data so I had their map and 10 hours of run time. Nothing else useful or of concern. I upgraded from a cheap Roomba, and the Roborock is leaps better.

are modern mapping robots(not just this one) accurate enough to not get stuck under couches if i map the area as a no-go zone? my biggest frustration with the one i currently have(non mapping)... is that it gets stuck under almost every couch, dresser, china cabinet we have cause the robot is 2" high and the furniture seems to all be 2.01" high.
I returned this model because it is not compatible with the current roborock application for iphone. If you have another roborock for and think think this is an "add" to your existing application/features… it is not. It is only supported by the old app

That's interesting... All my cabinets have at least 4" of clearance at the bottom. My only gripe with the Shark robot vacuum is that it tries to climb things, which results in some hilarious situations. You know, like a robotic mating ritual.

Answering myself...apparently Roborock refurbs are legit....I ordered one. The S5 MAX is the one I had my eye on.
