This might be about retail - I paid this much for a clear one a year or so ago from Amazon.

It's sturdy and it looks nice. I'm using it to keep my PC off of the carpet - the platform sits on the carpet, and my PC sits on top of the platform.

okay, while i keep an open mind to a lot of things. keyboard drawers are just dumb, they are like hutch desks. something that might have been a good idea at some point of time, but just no.

i will start with the obvious here
1. it hit your knee all the time.
2. it make use of mouse awkward
3 it doesn't fit well with standing desk.
and many more

i have this (well. may not be this brand, but many brand sales the same product).
it is a solid product that give you a lot of space for storing keyboard and hide cables.

Sounds like your desk is too low for a keyboard drawer. Imagine if your desk were a bit taller.

The kit I linked let's you use a panel as wide as you want, so it can be wide enough for your keyboard and your mouse. My drawer is almost the width of my whole desk with an extra wide mouse pad across the whole thing.
