Almost. The lowest recent price was $31.99. I'm in no big rush so I will continue to wait.

I'm not in a huge rush, but figured I can try use my Discover/Amex card discount before that goes away.

Anyone know what state the switch will be after a power outage? For some of my smart bulbs, when power is restored they turn on. Kind of annoying at 3 in the morning.

Bulbs turn on, but switches remain off if they were off at their last state.

Any info about TP-Link shutting down Kasa? Reddit has some heated discussions going on.

I do imagine it's hard to make profits on a $10 switch that will need cloud and app updates for years to come. Honestly I'd pay some reasonable monthly fee to keep my 20 Kasa devices working.

Just a guess, but tp link wouldn't want a shit storm of people dropping them as a brand that doesn't support their products in the long term.
