Anyone have any history with buying a refurbished unit like this? A 30 day return policy makes me nervous - what does the warranty on something like this have?

edit: I read it comes with only a 90 day warranty and that Microcenter uses 3rd party LG repair.

They usually aren't actually refurbished. I've heard Microcenter uses a third party vendor, which you can Google who it is. But a lot of these refurbs will just be customer returns. And if there is an actual issue with the TV, it isn't usually fixed. So you're taking a gamble. You can get with one with super low hours and it'll almost be like buying a new one, or you can get one with panel issues like uniformity & dead pixels

I reserved the 77' sony but refurbished plus possible burn in issues makes me nervous. It's $2999 new at Costco so there is saving but can't beat the peace of mind with costco.
