I'd ask microcenter what warranty options are like and what happens when you need to bring it in. They're usually good with customer service so I'd ask before buying. TV is great though

Bought refurbished before no thanks . Most will have issues
Do you know who the vendor was? I am assuming it was from verde toe.

$799 for the 48" and $899 for the 55"
I've been searching for these prices but can't seem to find them since I'd prefer the 55" - anybody got a link?

Edit: Found them

They are probably out of stock then. Untick the option for "in stock at your store" and tick the option for "items found"

Edit: beat me with your edit. So disregard!

I still appreciate it! Some were indeed sold out, but I'm in NYC so I have about 5 stores around me. Had to search for a while but finally found them.

So only 90 day warranty on these? What are the extended warranty options? There are 7 in my store but I normally by new but these are in my sweet spot for price on the 65 inch.

If these refurbished TVs only include 90 day warranty why is this so much more popular than the Woot deal on the 77" A80J for the same price also with 90 day warranty?

Maybe the upvotes are more for the 65" LG C1?

They usually aren't actually refurbished. I've heard Microcenter uses a third party vendor, which you can Google who it is. But a lot of these refurbs will just be customer returns. And if there is an actual issue with the TV, it isn't usually fixed. So you're taking a gamble. You can get with one with super low hours and it'll almost be like buying a new one, or you can get one with panel issues like uniformity & dead pixels
Who would return 65" TV without reason?

You'd be surprised. Significant other may have saw the price and flipped out. Maybe it was too big/not big enough. Or there were legit issues.

I bought a B7 many years ago from Wally that was refurbished. Had single digit hours on it. Grey slides weren't too pretty. But after a week, it was clear as can be. Most people don't want to wait and see if it'll get better and just return it, hoping they'll win the panel lottery on their next one.

If the (extended) warranty option on their TV's are like the other computer items in the store I would strongly suggest getting it. For those that may not be aware, when you buy an extended warranty from Microcenter, say a two year option, you literally can could return the TV anytime within that period, no questions asked, money or store credit choice. Its that good. I buy the 2 year warranty on almost everything I purchase there. Its almost like your leasing the product from them if you end up returning it.
