I just got the Flare 2 and I'm not super impressed. The controls aren't implemented intuitively and the sound is good but not great, nothing special. At this price there's not much competition for 360 speakers but I prefer my Tribit Stormbox which regularly goes on sale for ~$50. For some reason I hate the fabric on the flare, it feels and looks cheap.

I think this is a good deal on the soundcore motion+ as it's been hovering around 100-110 for the past 6 months. It sounds a lot better than the bose soundlink mini II @ $150, but it is a lot bigger in size if you don't mind the size.

However, at this price point if size doesn't matter to you an onyx on sale is a lot better performer than the soundcore motion +. Really depends if you value the portability of this.
