presumably the same reason that very nearly every "Insert name of fruit" juice on the juice aisle is really either mostly apple or grape juice with very little of the fruit the name of which is in the title. If you see some juice containers on the shelf that are much smaller and at the same time much more expensive, those may be actual pure juice of what's on the label title.

in other words, people want to think they're eating strawberries and spinach, but they're only willing to pay for apples.
