My store has gone almost entirely to self-service on these... and has told me that they don't really care what you pour. Basically, order iced coffee and get what you want.

I wonder if they will ever offer iced tea, lemonade or sod with the subscription. I have not paid for almost 2 years. I keep cancelling and resubscribe.

Yeah, my main location started doing that a few months ago. Then a few weeks later, other locations followed suit.

Now, I feel like I'm looting the place

How? New emails? After a while they stop offering free 3 months.
Same here. It finally ended a few weeks ago but now I just opened the app and got another 3 months. Can't beat free! Thanks OP.

Not even worth being free 😂. Never had a single decent coffee from Panera. Had their plan off and on for over a year. Definitely the reason they're always giving out free subs.
Is that recent? A few years ago, Panera was pretty well known for having some of the best coffee around. I'd go there before Starbucks or any of my local places (but don't tell my local places!)

But that's not right. They changed to self service because they trust customers

Our store had no coffee brewer for over a month and they basically said to get whatever. they didn't keep track or anything, they said just come in and grab a cup. So essentially anyone could have just walked in and grabbed whatever they wanted whether they actually subscribed or not. so I don't think they actually care.

I signed up earlier today again. Been signed up all Covid times. I go to 3 different stores and it's all self serve. Many don't put cups out and we can get whatever. Normally get Diet Coke or blacked iced teas.

I signed up for this last year. They extended it for free for another 3 months. I've paid for it for 6 months now. $9 is less that I was spending on coffee per months to brew it at home. Panera is right on my commute so I've gotten into a routine of stopping for coffee in the morning. They have travel mug refill on the app so I select that and always use my own mug.

Sometimes getting a green tea in the afternoon. I wish they would just offer straight green tea because I don't really like the ginseng and honey.

Stores told me to choose any drink that does not require speciality items added in. I do not think anyone cares what you get.

Yes, very recent. Last went about a month or so ago and it was the same story.

Like people are saying, the coffee tastes like crap. Worst coffee place i can think of. I'd rather pay elsewhere.

Anyone with an amex could get 6 months free if you signed up before end of January. You didnt need a new acct...heck, you didnt even have to use the Amex to "pay" for it! I dont expect this to go away at all until there is a sustained period of no more C19 restrictions.

Have had this for almost two years now, and I go to panera several times a week. Priceless benefit as I pretty much live on black tea.
I tried to use the amex offer prior to the cutoff and was told it was for first time subscribers only.

I've had this for awhile and love it. Bring mug, order travel refill on the app and help myself
