^^ This. Buy it now. It's Costco. You can return it if you never get the putter. I paid $65 for mine as well because I wasn't sure if it would ever come back in stock. Like you, the $65 was a 'bargain' at the time. Many were $100+.

Putter? Putter? what the.... Ohh golf. How did we let people convince us that is a sport and worth spending so much resources on.

More of a recreation commercialized for profit.
25 million people in the US play golf, yet you're here to comment that you don't. Now go find posts about every other sport you don't play.

Used to be back in the 1960s and 70s, along with all parks. That all changed in the last 50 years due to the high cost of water. Most golf courses now have their own water sheds or retaining ponds. In fact, city water and environmental restrictions pushed golf courses to hire agronomists and irrigation engineers to change everything. Today, golf courses are often the only environment in major cities that ensure a balance for native and migrating wildlife habitats. The Audubon Society works with and supports many golf courses in these efforts. This is all easy to search on Google, instead of repeating decades of old and outdated information. Now, go check if your City Park has changed anything in 50 years.

Water is precious and costs money to obtain. The easiest thing to do is tax large uses of water. No argument here. But you're saying all golf courses waste water. So where does the water come from and how do they pay for it? When were the golf courses built and how were they approved? Are there any natural aquifers underground? Rivers, dams or waterways nearby? Where does local agriculture obtain their water? Are there retaining ponds on site? What conservation, recycling and sustainable methods have been introduced in the last 50 years? Have you checked any of these details or researched the water management restrictions and taxes in your area?
