I have the Pruveeo A40 and have been using it for 4 months. I have no complaints. I have not used the app with this dash cam, I just eject the Micro SD card and view the videos from my computer. Of all the under $70 dash cams I have purchased, the A40 has had the best video quality during the day. Night time quality was not impressive.

If you want serious input and reviews on dashcams, check out dashcamtalk. They typically have users upload pros/cons, videos of day vs night driving, etc... as well as recommended dashcams for certain price points

All the Amazon reviews on the page I see are for a hardwire kit, not the camera. There might be some reviews for the camera itself, but I gave up looking after scrolling through two pages.

Nothing is said about the image sensor brand or model which is a red flag for me. The 2K quality can be interapolation and not real 2K you would expect (like many fakely advertising 4k dash cams with sony imx335 sensor).
Definitely won't trust 4.5 star review on Amazon.
