Buying a money order with the gift card essentially gets the cash off the gift card. Take the money order to your bank and deposit it. I had issues adding the gift card to my Paypal and Venmo which is why I went the money order route. My cash offer from GameStop was $140 less than the visa gift card. Most grocery stores and even Walmart offer money orders. Swipe the giftcard as debit and enter a pin number and you should be good to go.

I think the tax is on $500 so 100 + 7% or whatever your state tax is + 60 + 20 = 215 approx

FYI Metro PCS accounts are not authorized a device change until the next day after the account was created. I tried to put a unlocked phone on the new account to free up the iPhone 11 to then put on my brother's Metro PCS account. Live chat informed me that they received a error stating I couldn't do a device change until tomorrow since my account was created today. I gave them a sob story and they did it anyway lol. From there I was able to put the phone on my brother's Metro PCS account. The change device option on my account gave me a error which lead to me dealing with the live chat.

Incorrect, no activation fee. So $160 plus tax on $100 for the month. Taxes at my corporate store are on the amount paid.
Taxes are o n the MSRP of the phone, not after discounts

Think this is mostly true but not 100%. I got a se 2020 from cricket that they unlocked after 6 months of service that I am unable to active with sprint cdma because of an activation policy.
Sprint is dead and CDMA died years ago. The phone doesn't activate, the sim card does

TMobile is still holding true to all sprint activation policies for those on sprint billing. Until it all gets migrated over , you can't use it

Call customer services or live chat but they can only give it back as credit for next month bill.

Don't just believe me, please read the thread. People are only paying tax on the discounted price at corporate stores. The OTD price has been about $170.

Got 2 for ~$320. Took me around 30min inside. Probably could've been faster but they were really looking through stock to find a second one.

Honestly it's not that hard, just a pain in the ass to go (find) to the store. This is my second time doing one of these Metro deals. It's much better than something like Walmart YMMV goose chase where stocks just magically disappear.

They check my ID
You didn't break any TOS so you should be allowed to do this every 180 days either way. My corporate store asked me for my ID too but they don't care.

iPhone 11 at $250 ($300-$50) is still expensive, if you don't need those 3 months' service at all. Considering we all got iPhone XR (almost brand new) from Total Tireless at $110 not long ago, 'cuz iPhone 11 doesn't worth more than twice the price of an XR.
You don't need to do the whole 3 month. You can get lower than >$200 if you can find a corporate store by just doing the first month only. Or get lucky with an authorized dealer who won't try to screw you over.

Anyway, good luck to everyone trying and thanks OP for posting this deal + rep

What's the advantage of heading to a corporate store? Is it the taxes? I'm in DE so we don't pay taxes at all.

If I dont pay second month onwards, is there a chance to get blacklisted?
Anything else happen other than that?
If I buy today and immediately sell to e.g. GameStop, is there anything I might be dealing other than getting blacklisted? Thanks in advance.

Authorized store will force sell you insurance, accessories and other bullshit stuff?

I'm wondering the same thing. Wonder if the metro reps get some type of notification that those new numbers are not paying up. I know they get some type of commission which is why they push the insurance. My rep was very nice even though she pushed the insurance. I was not going to let this deal get away from me for $12 insurance.

I'm actually keeping the phones and hoping for the Auto Unlock on the 180th day
