Buying a money order with the gift card essentially gets the cash off the gift card. Take the money order to your bank and deposit it. I had issues adding the gift card to my Paypal and Venmo which is why I went the money order route. My cash offer from GameStop was $140 less than the visa gift card. Most grocery stores and even Walmart offer money orders. Swipe the giftcard as debit and enter a pin number and you should be good to go.

I think the tax is on $500 so 100 + 7% or whatever your state tax is + 60 + 20 = 215 approx

My corporate store hooked me up. No extra activation fees, insurance, or accessory fees.
I even got a oneplus n200 for free and n10 for 50 bucks. each line being 30 bucks including the iphone 11's instead of the 60 dollar lines it is supposed to be. total was 380 but wouldve been 320 for just the iphones.

also ordered a white rsim off ebay for about 6 bucks so I'll see how that goes for both 11's and wait 6 months or whatever for the 5g oneplus phones to unlock.
That sounds like an interesting deal.
1) Did you have to port in 4 phone lines? Or was it 2 port-in-# and 2 new #?
2) At the end of 1 month, can you terminate all service and still keep the n200 and n10 without any financial obligations to Metro?

Thanks.

1. Went in porting in the 2 numbers for the iphones, got new # for the other 2.
2. No financial obligation. Paid with cash and letting it lapse after first month. Redeemed my free 100gb google one storage as well. might pay an unlock company for the 2 oneplus depending if its 20 bucks or under.

Very good deal!

Did the sales rep just offer the deal with the 2 new lines and n100 + n10 out of the blue?
If not, how did you talk him/her into this additional deal?

they brought it up, asked if I wanted to go pick 2 more phones as they would be free as well, told me it will be 120 for the first month of service for the 2 iphones or 120 for the 2 iphones and 2 5g android phones of my choice, showed me a few of the options that qualified, was some oneplus, some motorola, samsung, and a nokia, but honestly the only good deals imo are the oneplus options or the new nokia. sounded shady at first then checked the fine print and receipt after and it was all accurate and no shady business. Each line is 30 for the highest end plan instead of the 60 required. think I just got lucky I don't know if you'd be able to ask for it to be set up like that.

Hi Sociablejuice, You are able to get 2 phones with 45$ service price of each? Long back when I tried 2 numbers they activated separately and charged 60$ for wash line instead of adding into same group. Metro plans are like 1 line 60$, 2 lines 90$, 3 lines 120$, 4 lines also 120$. We have restrictions of 2 iPhone11 per household now.
I'm honestly not sure I'm going to have to figure or ask about that once I get the phones. It's going to be a few days for the sims cards to arrive, but I'll let you know once I get it done.

Just curiosity, is that MetroPCS's iPhone also installed a lot of MetroPCS bloatware, too?

I purchased Samsung A32 5G for my dad through a previous MetroPCS trade-in/swap deal. That one automatically installed a lot of bloatware, even the screen lock had AD.

nope, no metropcs bloatware like a lot of androids get.
I've had to set up family members Androids and it would have a bunch of bloatware. Even tmobile androids would come with bloatware, slow the phones down a lot.

iOS does have apps that are preinstalled but those are easily removable such as GarageBand, iMovie, keynote, numbers, pages...

You guys are getting lucky to find inventory. My local store is out and the girl said people keep coming in looking for the deal. I guess I will have to keep trying. Not sure how long this deal will last.

For anyone attempting doing this don't even bother, this is what lots of people in "churning" groups have been doing for years as part of a process called "Manufactured spending", Nothing illegal about it , but stores have implemented lots of measures to stop it (such as asking to see your ID, asking to see the card to make sure the name on it matches your DL, hard-coded limits on POS terminals, etc).

The excuse to stop this is money laundering as usual but it obviously makes no sense as you can easily buy money orders with cash without any of the hassle

Oh, that's great.
MetroPCS bloatwares really bother him. We will visit the MetroPCS store for this deal.
Thanks.

Do they give accurate info on the stock when you call? The Corp stores.

Damn that's a great deal. Good job taking those OnePlus phones for the extra $50!

Just ask them if they have any in stock and they will let you know. Unless your corp store is nearby, call first to confirm so that you don't have to waste time.
