They're making a new one for mobile devices. Visually, it looks great, but it will probably be a gacha game.

No, this game is not related to any of the Force games at all. It's a regular, boring JRPG and I made it about 5 hours in before I gave up. If you've played any Tales game in the past 20 years, you may like this…. Maybe.

As for the mobile game that's being developed, the company behind it lost a shit-ton of money last year, so don't be surprised if it ends up being cancelled. This news is about a week old, I think? So pretty recent.

Saw this in a review and noped out fast: It's a horrible grindy RPG with only pretty girls and dating sim mechanics holding it up.

It's set in the same universe as all of the other Shining games, and item names are similar, like healing herbs and stuff like that. But, it's more of a traditional RPG. I'm pretty hyped for the Smart Phone game though, and I hope that it gets an English release, and even if it doesn't, I might still try to play it in Japanese.
