Thanks OP hug

I got in! Peace

I was paying $50 per year for Barron's alone.

Use privacy.com to create a Credit card with a $7 balance, they can't hit you with the higher rate if you forget to cancel.

1. Copy the title of the article you want to read in wsj.
2. Go to Google.com
3. Clear all web brower cookies.
4. Paste title and search.
5. Typically, the AMP version link appears among the top results (AMP = Google cached website).
6. Read the article for free.
You need to repeat the steps from #3 on for each new article you want to read.
7. If you read a ton, add appropriate cookie clearing extension for 1-click reset.

...

Many libraries have subscriptions to WSJ etc.
E.g. For me, no point at all subscribing to wsj, barrons, and over a hundred magazines.

On a side note, does anyone here have any clue how a couple of Chinese sellers are selling the wsj print subscription for $120 on eBay?!

When you cancel, go to the website and change your address to California and you will then be able to cancel without calling. The cancel link will show up.

FYI, as a Barron's subscriber I've regularly cancelled my auto-renew at the end of the year and a few days later receive an offer for $52/yr for Barron's and for a few extra bucks add on WSJ. Not as good of a deal as above but that's how I regularly re-subscribe to Barron's year after year.

Local library has WSJ, NYT and other newspapers for free. Not all do, but check yours.

For NYT and WSJ, you keep renewing a 72-hours pass. Somewhat of a nuisance, but it is free, so I will take it!

This is the best deal I've seen on this and you get 3 subs. Surely there's are more investors here
Investors or speculators? The former index broadly, as cheaply as possible, reinvest dividends when paid and walk away. Others believe that there is a significant possibility of performing better than the former practice over long periods of time. That is demonstrably delusional.
Trading is tantamount to timing and, as is often said, "The market timers' hall of fame is an empty room."
For its literary value, "Barron's" has, in my opinion, deteriorated markedly since the death of Alan Abelson. Therefore, I no longer read it. But, to each his own.

This is truly a great deal for some of the best market publications. If I wasn't still nursing my one year Barron's from 2019 I'd bite for sure. Heck I may just bite anyway.
