Define "AirPods good." If you're looking for music quality, airpods are lousy. If you're looking for ease of use with an iPhone, they're the gold standard and you won't find better.

The Westone sound is better (flatter) than airpods. If you like airpods, you'll hate them. Get something with artificially enhanced bass. Get the Sony Extra Bass or Beats/Powerbeats. They'll sound like ass, but you'll like them.

The newer version of the Westone bluetooth cable has great battery life. For me (a carpenter), it lasts about 10-11 hours with lots of podcast/music listening time.

Does this go on sale often? I'm having issues with my buds2 falling out any time I smile or yawn, and It's a pain buying all these after market tips to fix the problem. I'm tempted to go with this deal but I feel like I should give my buds2 one last try with another set of tips before giving up on them. If this is a rare price, I'd go ahead and get them now. TIA

Go with earbuds with loops that go around the ear. Those never fall out.

Anyone know what's up with the W series at Westone? They no longer list any of the W or UM series on the site. Looks like they may have shifted to focusing on Healthcare/Military/Hearing Protection only. Can no longer buy direct and only place the W10 is mentioned on the entire website is at...
