I ordered this and 2 other Metabo HPT tools. All were separate orders. All arrived wrecked (UPS). Replacements are a ROYAL pita.

Decided to take a chance as an early adopter. With a stable full of Hitachi/Metabo HPT corded and cordless I was just waiting for them to come out with a mid-torque wrench. Passed on the 18-volt 1/2" as a little too anemic and simply use my impact driver for low level wrenching. The specs and impartial review(s) make this look to be a great upper mid-range impact wrench.

This will also be my first foray into the multi-volt world of Metabo and I'm reasoning that a comparable deal will be hard to come by in the near future. Doubt that within the next year or so the bare tool will be found lower than $150 and the charger/4.0Ah-36v battery starter kit not less than $100. I could be wrong on the $$$ and hope not to be wrong with my expectations of a quality tool. ;-)

In for one -- Now I need toolbarn and UPS to come through.
