Woot is having a sale on the Ninja Foodi IG651 Smart XL Pro 7-in-1 Indoor Grill/Griddle Combo for $183.99 with Free S&H for Amazon Prime Members. This model includes the Foodi Smart Thermometer that turns off the oven as soon as the desired temperature is reached. The condition of these grills are Refurbished and have a 90 day warranty. This is the latest model in the Ninja Foodi Grill series and the griddle works great for things like pancakes, scrambled eggs, bacon, etc. The unit also has top and bottom burners unlike the previous ones.
These grills are about 50% off the new price on Amazon.
Woot also has the previous model, the Ninja FG551 Foodi Smart XL 6-in-1 Indoor Grill, on sale for $139.99. The difference between this one and the IG651 is that there is no griddle included and it only has a top burner.

I got the: Ninja FG551 Foodi Smart XL 6-in-1 Indoor Grill ($139.99), as I couldn't wait for Kohls, Costco, Amazon, etc for the same/similar deal from the past winter. And the griddle-aspect wasn't needed by me (gas-stovetop is much, much more economical and user-friendly for me vs. an electric-griddle).
I'm hoping these are customer returns, not necessarily scratch-&-dent/refurbished/repaired stuff. I did it with my AmazonPrime, so hopefully exchange/return isn't a P.I.T.A.
I've been wanting this for awhile!

Does the IG651 Smart XL 7-in-1 offer a different heating/cooking mechanism, vs. the previous-generation FG551 XL 6-in-1 version?

My liimited countertop real-estate is very much in high-demand, it'll be interesting where I can place & use it...
I'll rely on my credit-card's warranty, if-warranted, so to speak. And perhaps being a Prime customer (and branded payment-card) may offer some customer-service. I am just hoping that it's not a damaged/repaired unit.
Interestingly, the delivery ETA is March 7-9... quite a ways off.
The product sticker with S/N had a (presumably) refurb ID bar-code over it. But, the S/N is barely visible & I'll nonetheless register the product. Woot says 60-days, Ninja refurb says 90 days, Shark new-product says 1-year.
Powered-up just fine, and I'll likely grill / roast some stuff tomorrow. With that said, these are very large in form-factor & take up a good bit of counter real-estate, on the countertop & airspace. Considering I generally cook-for-one, not sure how practical it may be. Though I needed something beyond the oven & stovetop, for grilling & airfrying.
