Why is this getting TU? Post says Walmart yet the pic shows HD and the link is HD. Also...this bare tool goes on sale for <$30 frequently. 2ah battery worth $40 w/o a charger? We continue to see Ryobi deals that include 4ah batteries that could pair with this inflator and be a much better deal in the long term. This same deal keeps getting lots of love each time it's posted...I just don't get it. Love this inflator though...use it everyday.

Have one of these for a few years and the thing is great. You set the psi and it inflates to that level and cuts off automatically. Can easily top up 12 tires.

Had some landscaping work being done and the companies backhoe developed a flat. It's a BIG tire and this thing handled it fine and they were able to finish. Backhoe driver was impressed with it and told me he's buying one.

Not a bad thing to take on road trips in case you get a slower flat. With luck, will get the tire pumped up enough to get you to a station to fix the tire. Ryobi also has a lamp that can charge cell phones using same battery as inflator.

I've seen deals on these periodically ( usually 2-3x a yr) from Direct Tools where they are less expensive for one without a battery included. Just remember they have a pretty high flat shipping fee.

Direct tools price is typically $25-35 range and shipping is $10. If you already have Ryobi batteries I'd wait for another tool only option. Even HD has price drops pretty often to $37 for tool only with free ship. That's how I got mine.

This thing is awesome - during covid, I've topped off 12 tires in one sitting... and it kept on going.

But I paid far less than this price - and as others have mentioned - wait for the $30ish price, and use your already existing battery, or wait for a sale on batteries - this is NOT a deal price.

after getting the $20 one, it's hard to justify the additional +3x price tag for a 2.0 ah battery and incremental features per this deal. that is unless one has no ryobi battery in the first place.

Agreed not a good price. I got mine from Black Friday "blemished". I would wait until Black Friday again if you can. Tool is awesome and loud.

The ability to set a pressure and it simply inflates to that value is very useful. This is definitely superior to the cheaper pump they also offer. Note that most deals offered are the cheaper version! I can't see the value in a car--get a 12V pump that runs from the car's battery instead.

However, the inclusion of the battery makes it unsuitable for a lot of people who already have plenty of batteries.

How much do batteries go on sale for? So instead of this price, I could get battery + tool got around $50 instead? Just guessing you what I would save vs getting this now

How is this FP? This is normal price isn't it? Maybe supply chain issues and inflation (Pun intended Wink) have hit these units hard?

Either way, it is a nice unit. I believe I paid $30ish for mine (without battery, but I already have 5 batteries). So I suppose if you don't already have Ryobi battery, this may be a luke-warm deal. But it sounds like this doesn't even come with a charger for the battery?!
