I've been shopping for a 77" OLED and went in to a Video Only (Portland OR) yesterday to see what their prices were.
I was looking for either the Sony A80J (lowest he would go on this was 2,499) or the LG C1 (listed at 2,499) and the guy came down to $2,249 after I told him I was trying to get down to $2200.
Just got to ask right!? maybe lower if I kept at it.
I took the deal (Plus a 3 year no-deductible extended warranty for $50).
Video only is in Washington, Oregon, and California so sorry everyone else.

Edit: There was also a deal to be had for a 65" C1 listed at $1499, just got to negotiable a little.

And I don't think those prices in your link are current for the store I was in, and it says suggested retail price so maybe they fudged the numbers around to get to 2499.
