I got one from my company and as someone who uses 8000 sticky notes a day and loses a handful frequently enough, o have to say I love this thing. My handwriting is pretty terrible and the app doesn't always get the OCR right, but as long as I write the title ok, I can search the picture and decipher it myself pretty easily. Definitely saving trees and keeps your notes on one spot. I think my work paid much more, worth a try if you are thinking about getting a reusable/ erasable notebook.
I have these in 2 different sizes. While I do like the concept and enjoy the products, one thing that gets me from time to time is that the ink does not dry down as quick as writing on papers when you write on these notebooks, which usually leads to smudging when I accidentally run my hand over it…Also, in order for the eraser towel to do a good job it needs to be quite damp, which can be inconvenient if you're, say, in the middle of a class or meeting without a bottle of water.

I wonder about the longevity of this since it, like a lot of unfortunate products, relies on mobile phone software to boast reusability. How well does the 'paper' resist letters being mechanically imprinted into the pages as it happens with regular paper?

I have these and I like them...usually to take notes and review them later. I don't use the app...I don't usually need my notes for more than a week or two. I cut out tabs from index cards and taped them on the side of my notebook to create subsections. I have the executive and regular notebook size and find the executive kinda small so that only gets used if I misplaced my regular notebook size so you'll probably want to order the full size from woot.
I have both on a clipboard so I can just pick it up and start writing and not have to find room on my desk. I don't have issues with the ink smearing...yeah it takes a few seconds to dry, just don't smudge it. If you turn the page don't turn it completely and squish the page on your table.
I work from home so no issues with not having water to dampen the cloth (or paper towel, tissue) as the bathroom is near by. If you're going to be in class all day then you'll want to plan ahead and ensure you have enough blank pages ahead of time.
Also the pens are just Frixion pens...you can buy them different style/colors. They aren't cheap. I dislike the ones the provide the most.
Have one, really like it to scribble notes during meetings quickly.. only issue I saw is, after a few months of use the pages tend to get oily (from my palms?) and it just can't be cleaned.. you can't write it on those spots and leaves gaps. Got one to replace my old one, worth 15
I've been using one for a while. Even if not using the app being able to use the notebook, erase and reuse ♻️ saves paper and waste. The 0.5mm erasable pens are good with it. I've been using the same one since 2018, the covers bowed a bit but overall still usable.
Getting a new one, prefer fusion and a different color but for the price, in for one.
Thanks!

Loving my Rocketbook Fusion. I prefer writing down notes when in meetings vs typing them out, but also hate constantly sorting through scraps of paper and manila folders everywhere. This allows me to quickly scan and electronically file my notes. Also love that the app allows me to multi-direct my notes, so I can have them file in a named and dated PDF in Google Drive and at the same time forward to specific groups of co-workers via e-mail who may also need the notes.
Just wish my handwriting was a little cleaner. The OCR function in the app is pretty good but I'm lucky when it is able to make sense of 50% on my writing. Thankfully my co-workers are used to deciphering my chicken scratch by now.

For those who haven't used one of these before, writing on the rocketbook wet-erase paper feels half-way between writing on normal paper and writing on a whiteboard. I think it's great, but it might not be for everyone. Smudging can happen for the first dozen or so seconds after writing, but I haven't had any major problem with it.
Do look into the available uploading options if you work at a company with strong infosec requirements, as many of them may not be approved for your workplace. Every option goes through a 3p cloud or email server at some point, so my workplace would not allow any of them. I had to resort to alternate means for my use case.

Update: bit the bullet to get the space grey. Hopefully dot grid isn't too hard
