This is how I did it:
First of; my store had both items (I'm not sure this has to do with anything).
Selected kit to be picked up in store, and free batteries to be delivered home,
Purchased from my phone and paid with CC (again not sure if this matters),
Went to computer after couple min and there was a option under batteries for cancellation
That's it
I understand that everybody have different experiences when it comes to cancellation. You might as well don't get an option to cancel the order partially while others do.
I got refunded for cancelled item on same day

Just regular browsing.. Basically they're giving away free tools if you purchase batteries and charger. And that is with discounted battery prices
