A hand mixer is about $20. So pay a bit more for stand version? Mostly whipping egg whites, small batches of baking in air fryer or making cooking dough
I saw one of these in person, it's basically a playskool toy. All plastic parts. The knob that controls speed feels like it will pop off if you barely touch it. Total garbage even for the price.

I just received this today. It's a KitchenAid knock-off. According to one reviewer KitchenAid accessories that attach to the front drive work with this machine, but I haven't been able to verify that. I haven't made anything with it yet, but it seems to be pretty powerful too (800w). The frame is solid cast metal and it stays put when running. It's only $10 more than this deal, but I think it's worth the extra 10 for the extra capacity, power, and solid metal frame. The only thing that is shaky is the control knob which is a little loose.https://www.amazon.com/gp/product...UTF8&psc=1
Update: My wife made a batch of cookies with it last night. It didn't break a sweat when all the dry ingredients were added. It seems to be very powerful. The frame is rock solid when mixing. We're impressed and happy with the purchase.
The one downside I would say is a weak and conflicting warranty and return policy. It's not Prime. The card inside says it has a 10 day money back guarantee, 30 day replacement if defective and only a 90 day service warranty. You pay shipping. The Amazon product description contradicts the warranty card in the box: "Certification & Service: 1 year warranty. Please always feel free to contact us if you have any questions during using."
That said we like ours a lot and think it's a steal at $49.

Not everone need a $300 appliance for twice a year use. People comparing this $39 appliance with a $300 kitchenaid is reckless 😆...
Sure, but from the sounds of it you would be better off with a hand mixer if you only use it twice a year. Once you use a mixer enough to justify a bulky stand mixer you should probably invest in a quality machine.
