Checked two flights I had saved from Google flights. SU was $15 more with the discount for the first flight, and $12 more than 2nd. Identical flights

No age limit, but Amazon does limit the number of years for which any given Amazon Prime account can receive the Amazon Prime Student discount rate.

Age doesn't matter. You have to show a proof of enrollment of a college - transcript is the general proof they accept.

Skyscanner has identical flights (2) for respectively $12 & $18 cheaper. The PS deal does mention some premium telephone support $7.95 for free though.
Checked a Hotel stay for 3 nights in one of east costs popular beach and the prices were $2 cheaper then the listed Hotel . C o m. The only benefit could be the 10% AMZN gift card back after the stay. Which could be tempting.

Amazon Student is a fine program, but the company's unwillingness to recognize that people can be students for more than four years is a bit ridiculous. If you redeem it during high school you can't use it in college, grad school, professional school, or a second degree. If you are a single parent and it takes you seven years to get a degree you will only have it for four years. And if you withdraw for any reason, you can't rejoin when you return.

It's a well-intentioned program, but because of its rigid structure, it can quickly alienate customers.

Just make a new account. I have over a dozen student prime accounts. Once every 7 months isn't hard

It probably works best for hotels, not flights. Flights operate at very low margins (economy seats), so 10% off the best price is not going to happen.
