My Goldendoodle would chock on this small size. My small dog, may she rest in peace, rarely chewed. My Doodle is thinking about chewing while sleeping.

Just a "PSA" here sharing my own research. There are a lot of chew products out there and most of the time they don't cause issues, but the horror stories are real when they do. The rule of thumb I've come to found marks the difference between products with and without horror stories is that you shouldn't give your dog anything to chew that is harder than your thumb nail. Not bones, antlers, or nylon toys. Raw hide seems to also be something to avoid as dogs seem to choke on them sometimes or get them bound up in their intestines.

I've found no cheap options. Bully sticks and beef tendons are the most durable things I've found so far for dogs that need to chew. Aggressive chewers can work through those pretty quickly still and they're not cheap. And even these upset some dog's stomachs, although I haven't heard about any harrowing incidents at least, save for the choking risk that comes with just about anything a dog can chew down to just small enough to try and swallow.

As always investigate for yourself.

Have to agree, perhaps even watching your dog while chewing is best, greenies were super popular, but since they exploded in popularity decades back, many dogs died choking on them. Not a fault of greenies, its "digestible" but some dogs eyes are bigger than their throat! When millions of pet owners flock to a brand, unfortunately a few will have horror stories. I like bully sticks, but I also put them into a stick holder so the final inch to inch and a half doesn't get swallowed whole (or choked on). My dog has chewed the steel belts out of mini motorcycle tires. There's nothing he hasn't chewed through!

Damn, Amazon ones are already OOS.

Also, every chew toy/edible chew in existence will have horror stories and people who think they are terrible product if you research hard enough. The point is to supervise and observe until you feel that the dog will be safe with that toy, and try to teach the doggo what's appropriate way to treat a toy. If the aggressive behavior is persistent, maybe there is something more than the toy.
