Definitely not worth it. The controls in this game make it unplayable. The choice by the devs to make you hold ZR to move the camera rather than hold ZR to swing your sword is absolutely baffling.
i bought it before and could only stand playing about 30 mins. holding z for the camera is one thing but using the right control stick to swing the sword is what took me over the edge. sold it immediately on offer up.
don't waste your money on this. you could probably buy a used wii u to play this if you really want.
I had the game back on the Wii and I hated the controls... First major Zelda game I refused to play. I thought about getting it on switch if the motion controls were gone... Guess I won't. But I don't like breath of the wild either.
Holding the Z button is definitely ridiculous and a horrible decision by the devs
However… you get used to it. Im about 60 hours in and I don't even realize Im holding it. Def annoying in the beginning of the game but you get used to it. And it turned out to be a very fun game

Have you tried to remap the ZR to L? I'm thinking of buying this game, but I'm not sure due to the messing controls...

I haven't but mainly bc I dont know how to remap the buttons.
However just note the L button is mapped to the "lock-on" and "re-center" action like traditional Zelda games so it feels more natural to leave it on L.
