FYI: I've ordered from this site before, and they do warn about import fees, but I didn't get hit with any when I ordered a Rev'it jacket a few months ago.
Motocard based in Spain, I've purchased a few things totaling more than 2k and no import fees luckily YMMV. A lot of their Intercoms are 20% off too. "FYI some items (ex.Shoei helmets) aren't for export sale"
Nice deal on a reputable helmet brand! Most of the deals are on junk helmet brands. Repped for motorcycle content!
OMG that's so awesome!!! Congrats! What are you riding?
After hearing my Mother beat it into our heads for years growing up that riding any motorcycle on the highway is dangerous, I got a wild hair last year and I was trying to find a Honda CT70 to fix up like we had in high school. They were too expensive around here to fix up even without a title, so I bought a 2021 Ice Bear Champion 125 (Honda CT70 clone).
It's a lot of fun, but obviously not very big for my 6'-6" 230 lbs. self, so after I licensed it I found a used 2013 Suzuki DR650 nearby and have really enjoyed them both for almost a year now. I am VERY careful because South Carolina drivers have proven to be some of the worst in the country, but backroads and offroading is a lot of fun!

When people tell me motorcycles are dangerous I respond with something like "Motorcycles are dangerous and may hurt or kill you, but do you know what's more dangerous? Life! Because it's guaranteed to kill you." That usually shuts up people. Obviously that would not have worked on your mother when you were a child.
I'm glad you moved passed all that nonsense and gave it a try! As you found out, riding is awesome! It's the best mental therapy and stress relief I've ever found.
Has your Ice Bear been reliable? I've thought about buying one as a project for myself because, like you said, the Hondas are terribly overpriced these days on the used market.

Exactly. You know as well as I do that no matter what we do we have to be careful, but I don't want to be so careful that I don't live my life. Believe me, I put on so much stuff just to ride for protection that it's a wonder I can move, but it's so much fun getting out there.
Actually the Ice Bear has been pretty reliable! If you're on Facebook, check out the Icebear Owners' Group[facebook.com]. I've been on there for more than a year, and these guys are all extremely helpful and knowledgeable. I spent around $250 more to put on new Michelin Reggae tires, a stainless steel brake line, a replacement carburetor, a new chain, new turn signals and an LED headlight (plus a few more non-necessities like Honda Trail 70 decals, etc.). It's much more reliable with these few additions, and I've learned a lot about it as I have gone through it.

And if you want to buy one, check with Alan Adams at CajunMaddogs.com[cajunmaddogs.com]. It might take you a little while to have it delivered, but they come straight to your house, drop it off, and you uncrate it and put it together. Alan has been GREAT to work with, and they have the best customer service of anybody selling these things. I had to have a replacement axle because it was bent on the way over, and the master cylinder was trash, so he sent a whole front brake assembly replacement. The good thing about these Champions is the parts are CHEAP.

See if you can see this picture in the Group [facebook.com] - this is my Ice Bear when I got out last Saturday near my house.
