Exactly my thought. And the increase in cost for a PowerA wired to wireless controller is pretty significant.

Good value for a controller. Has two buttons in the back you can remap buttons to. Mine did start drifting after about 6 months of daily gaming but it's worth the price IMO.

The red and green Christmas themed one is also marked down to $15.10. Labeled as "Various Nintendo switch" for the color selection.

Just keep an eye out for enhanced vs not enhanced. Enhanced has the extra back buttons. That controller is the basic one without the extra buttons. Extra buttons are nice to have for swimming in animal crossing.

I'm not a heavy gamer, maybe 10 hours a week. Had one of these controllers and it was fine while it worked, but then the left stick started drifting bad and became too annoying to use. Bought another since it's cheap, but the same eventually happened again except worse. Went through both within a year. Luckily my cousin bought me a PS5 for Christmas and I now use that much superior controller. Personally would not recommend.

Had 3 of these Power A controllers. All have issues with the analogy stick sticking or drifting.

The problem is that Switch can only use these wired controllers docked. But that's when you have a bigger screen and want to be further away from the screen. I ended up storing these as collector's items sitting on the shelf being pretty.
