How to prevent or stop the popup "Sorry, this deal has expired." ever time you go into an expired deal

It doesn't take a genius to realize a deal is expired on this site ., so I guess I don't understand the reason behind this "Sorry, this deal has expired" popup every time I go into an expired deal?

Often I research expired deals or have convos going on after the fact... this popup seems like more like a nuisance every single time i go into that deal thread. There must be a way to stop it.... I don't see anything in settings....

there should be a cog icon on the bottom right of the popup. if you click it there should be a "do not show again" link.
