I don't know what you expect. I watch digital film sales all the time and there are titles in this one which I've never seen available for $4.99.
I bought:
1) Wolf of Wall Street (4K UHD)
2) Cold Mountain
3) Infernal Affairs - hard (impossible?) to get without a redemption code
I do wish Miramax would start releasing their movies in 4K UHD. TBH, I can't name a single one which is incredibly sad for such an amazing catalogue.
Disc to Digital has all of the HD titles available for $2 each. This is only decent if you're looking at UHD, but even then these sales are standard with VUDU. I've also personally bought codes from UV digital resellers for movies like Fences and Mother for less than a dollar each. You must not be good at watching digital film sales all the time if you didn't know about the other methods of making these deals slicker.

I believe it is unethical to use D2D if you don't actually own the disc. Otherwise, I gave up my soapbox a long time ago and focused on my income equation instead of trying to rip off every loophole known to mankind. One of the reasons vendors like VUDU won't do D2D for UHD and certainly why Paramount and Lionsgate don't participate at all is because of abuse/fraud. I'll never cry for rich executives, but if this was my company you were ripping off we'd have a problem. So I sometimes pay more to live by the golden rule and that helps me sleep better at night. That's enough to give you my perspective and background on things. Expecting to pay <$2 for a digital movie is pretty stingy IMO, but to each their own.

Originally ONLY Lionsgate titles were offered so prices were consistently low.
