Not sure if the settings for this device but have you tried deactivating combining the 2.4 and 5ghz. My router acts stupid for certain devices. Keeping the networks separate worked for me.

These may struggle with older devices -- I bought one of these and I couldn't get my PS Vita to connect to it no matter what I did. Tried disabling ax mode, tried limiting to 20mhz 2.4g channel, tried setting it to N-only mode on 2.4G, updated to the latest firmware ... nothing worked.

This is a great price for a good router. I have been using it for a year. The signal is strong and it has a 2.5Gbps port.

Figures just purchased from micro center for $250 and hooked it up a couple weeks ago. Don't mind because the router has been solid as hell

Agreed, this has been my "daily ride" since Aug 2020, overall quite stable and still getting regular firmware updates. It isn't unusual to have 15-20 devices going through this in my home at any given time.

I have >70 devices at home with around 2/3 connected to it by wifi, although some through other access points. I use this as the main router uplinked to the cable modem and then through a 2.5Gbps switch to my ZenWifi AX mesh AP (2 using wired backhaul). We can have multiple video streaming simultaneously and I can get my full 600Mbps internet speed in both wired and wifi devices. I have another 3 node AC mesh AP connected to the gigabit LAN port of AX86U for home automation devices, security cameras, and other lower speed devices. Peace

Yes- I have a RT-AC68R router running Merlin, which is an enhanced version of the standard ASUS firmware. It runs great on mine and it supports the AX86, too. Google 'Asuswrt Merlin'

I ha e had this for a few months. My only issue is when I go outside and come home my wifi connects on my phone (s21 ultra) but can't use Internet. If I disable / enable wifi on the phone real quick its back to working. Anyone else ever seen this?

Other than that fantastic router. Full gigabit up and down.
